Ford: Second-row Seat May Move Unexpectedly (seats)

Ford is recalling certain 2020-2027 Aviator and 2020-2026 Explorer vehicles because the switch for the second-row outer seats may stick or bind, causing the seats to unlatch, tip, or slide unexpectedly. An unlatched or moving seat may not properly restrain a passenger during a crash, increasing injury risk. Dealers will inspect and replace the switch bezel for free once the remedy becomes available in January 2027.
