Alfa Romeo Brera: Reduction Of Braking Assistance May Occur
Alfa Romeo is recalling 200 Brera and 159 vehicles sold in the United Kingdom because the brake pedal may become stiff and require more force to stop the vehicle, particularly at high altitudes shortly after starting the engine. The issue is caused by insufficient brake assistance due to low vacuum in the system. Alfa Romeo will install an electric vacuum pump to supplement the brake system.
