Jayco: Incorrect Gawr On Certification Label
Jayco is recalling certain 2027 Heartland Bighorn recreational trailers because the weight limit information on the certification label is incorrect. Using the wrong weight limit could cause the trailer to be overloaded, which increases the risk of a crash. Jayco will send replacement labels to owners at no cost.

- Component: EQUIPMENT. Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2027 Heartland Bighorn recreational trailers. The Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) listed on the certification label may be incorrect. As such, these trailers fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 567, "Certification."

- Referencing the incorrect weight could result in the trailer being overloaded, increasing the risk of a crash. Remedy: Jayco will mail replacement labels to owners, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 1, 2026. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco's number for this recall is 9901666.
