Toyota () Corolla: Risk Of Fire

Recall Summary Toyota is recalling 39,420 vehicles (Corolla, Auris, Urban Cruiser, iQ, and Yaris models) because oil may accumulate in the turbocharger and potentially flow into the engine's combustion chamber, which can cause engine damage or, in rare cases, fire if the oil contacts an ignition source. The fix involves modifying the intercooler layout, upgrading the engine software, and upgrading the turbocharger and/or vacuum pump depending on the vehicle's condition. This recall affects vehicles distributed in the United Kingdom.
