Renault Trucks T High: C0500 – Irmu Replace
Recall Summary Renault Trucks is recalling 10 T HIGH model vehicles because the AC inlet socket and power outlet for body builder equipment may not be properly isolated from each other electrically. This means voltage with low leakage current could unintentionally be present in either the AC inlet socket or power outlet when the other is in use. The fix involves inspecting and replacing the Insulation Resistance Monitoring Junction box.

- Reason
- The AC inlet socket and the power outlet for body builder equipment might be incorrectly energized. It happens because these two features are not fully electrically isolated from each other. Therefore in vehicles where AC or DC power outlets are installed there might be voltage with low leakage current inadvertently present inside the AC inlet socket when the power outlet is active. Also when AC charging there might be a voltage with low leakage current inadvertently present on the power outlet . Remedy: Inspection and replacement of the Insulation Resistance Monitoring (IRM) Junction box.
