Triumph Thunderbird: Ignition May Fail

Recall Summary Triumph is recalling 1,936 motorcycles across eight models (Thunderbird, America, Rocket 3, Thruxton, Tiger, Scrambler, Speedmaster, and Bonneville) because certain electronic control units may malfunction in extreme temperature conditions, potentially damaging the fuel injector and causing it to stay constantly on. This can result in the engine failing to start or, if running, losing power in one cylinder. Triumph will replace the affected electronic control units.
