Nissan Motor () Qashqai: Potential Loss Of Steering

Recall Summary Nissan is recalling 18,724 Qashqai and X-Trail vehicles sold in the United Kingdom because a needle bearing may be missing from the steering shaft, and the cover screw may not be properly tightened. This could cause the screw to loosen, leading to play and noise in the steering system and potentially resulting in loss of steering control. Dealers will inspect the steering gear and replace it if needed.
