3M is recalling PELTOR ComTac VIII headsets sold in New Zealand because they may produce unexpectedly loud feedback noise through the speakers, reaching up to 106 decibels. This loud noise exposure could cause permanent hearing damage, including tinnitus. The recall affects all PELTOR ComTac VIII headsets distributed in New Zealand.
