Bentley Bentayga - Brandgefahr
Recall Summary Bentley is recalling 2023 Bentayga Hybrid vehicles built between March 29 and November 7, 2023 because a defect in the high-voltage battery cells can cause overheating during charging. Bentley will install new software to improve battery diagnostics, and owners are instructed not to use external charging sources or the "Battery Hold" mode until the fix is applied. If problems persist after the software update, the battery or battery module will be replaced.

Remedy: Installation einer neuen Software, die diagnostische Verbesserungen für die Hochspannungsbatterie einführt. Hinweis an Halter, dass die Hochvoltbatterie bis auf Weiteres nicht über externe Ladequellen aufzuladen sind oder den Modus „Battery Hold“ zu nutzen. Sollten Probleme nach der neuen Software erkannt werden, wird die Hoachspannungsbatterie/-modul ersetzt.
