Forest River: Waste Holding Tank May Vent Sewer Gas Into Cabin
Recall Summary Forest River is recalling certain 2026 Prime Time Crusader recreational trailers because the waste water holding tank's ventilation pipe may be routed inside the trailer instead of outside, potentially allowing sewer gas to enter the cabin. Sewer gas exposure poses a risk of injury to occupants. Dealers will install the proper vent pipe and roof cap at no cost to owners.

- Reason
- Sewer gas inside the vehicle may increase the risk of injury. Remedy: Dealers will install the vent pipe and roof cap, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 14, 2026. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-825-4995. Forest River's number for this recall is 49-2057. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning June 19, 2026.
