Wabash National: Side Door Step May Detach (structure)
Wabash National is recalling certain 2021-2026 Econex Refrigerated Body vehicles because the side door stirrup steps may detach, which could cause injury or crashes. The company will repair the steps for free, and owners should expect notification letters starting September 4, 2026.

- Steps that detach while in use increase the risk of injury. Additionally, steps that detach while in transit increase the risk of a crash.
