- On affected vehicles due to a production nonconformity there may be contact or a reduced clearance between the fuel Particulate Filter pipe and the pole protection cup of the 48V Belt Starter Generator. Under wet conditions there is a possibility that this insufficient clearance may lead to water infiltration creating an electrical arc which could trigger a thermal event such as overheating.
