- The bearings which locate the support for the telescoping adjustment of the steering column may become displaced with possible loss of steering control if a securing clip is not fitted correctly. Remedy: Likely to be affected vehicles will be recalled during which a check of the steering shaft will be made. Should the shaft be faulty it will be replaced.
