Ford Mondeo: Possible Failure Of Offside Front Brake Caliper
Ford Mondeo Brake Caliper Recall Ford is recalling 1,812 Mondeo vehicles that may have a right front brake caliper with casting defects. The defective caliper could leak brake fluid over time, potentially causing loss of one brake circuit. Ford will inspect affected vehicles and replace any calipers manufactured within the affected date range.

- It is possible that some Mondeo vehicles may have been fitted with a right hand front brake caliper where the casting is not to specification. In time this may result in fluid leakage with the loss of one brake circuit. Remedy: Recall the affected vehicles for a check on the manufacturing date of the subject caliper. Caliper units falling within the affected range will be replaced.
