Jaguar Xk8: Possible Disengagement Of Diff Output Shaft
Recall Summary Jaguar is recalling 805 XK8 vehicles because the retaining rings on the differential output shaft in the rear suspension may become displaced during extreme driving conditions. Jaguar dealers will inspect the installation of these rings and replace them if they don't meet manufacturer specifications.

This can ca Remedy: The subject vehicles are being recalled to Jaguar dealers to have the installation of the retaining rings inspected. Where the installation does not conform to the manufacturers specification the rings will be replaced with quality assured examples.
