Aston Martin Db9: Vehicle May Roll Away

Aston Martin is recalling 19,245 vehicles (DB9, Rapide S, Vanquish, DBS, and Virage models) because a software communication error between the engine and transmission control modules can prevent the transmission's park pawl from engaging, which may allow the vehicle to roll away if the park brake is not applied. The fix is a software update to the Transmission Control Module. The recall affects vehicles distributed in the United Kingdom.
