- Suspension trailing arms may fracture forward of the axle beam. This may result in damage to the suspension or detachment of the axle. Remedy: Recalled trailers to be modified in 3 areas to reduce the stress levels and maintain tightness at the connection between the trailing arms and the axle beam viz 1)Replace axle bracket location plates with tee shaped key plates. 2) Replace square U-bolt
