Vw Bora: Bolts Of The Tandem Fuel Pump Cover May Break

Recall Summary Volkswagen is recalling approximately 397,608 vehicles across multiple models (Bora, New Beetle, Golf, Polo, Sharan, Touran, Lupo, and Passat) equipped with certain 3 and 4-cylinder diesel engines. The bolts on the tandem fuel pump cover may break due to a manufacturing defect, which could cause the pump housing to loosen and result in a diesel fuel leak. Affected vehicles will be checked, and if the pump is within the affected manufacturing range, the bolts will be replaced.
