- For affected engine gaskets these contain certain asbestos fibers (chrysotile asbestos also known as white asbestos) and thus do not comply with the legal requirements. Remedy: Consumers users and customers will be informed of the product risk. This action is to remove the products by withdrawing them from the supply chain and destroying them. In addition conspicuous and permanent labelling will be used on motor vehicles in which the affected products are installed.
