Bentley Motors Arnage: Possible Fouling Of Fuel & Brake Pipes

Bentley Motors is recalling 357 Arnage vehicles because brake and fuel pipes may be positioned too close together, potentially causing them to rub against each other and develop leaks over time. Dealers will inspect the gap between these pipes and apply protective measures or replace them if necessary. This recall affects Bentley Arnage owners in the United Kingdom.

BENTLEY MOTORS LIMITED
Product
Vehicles: BENTLEY MOTORS ARNAGE. Units affected: 357
Reason
The potential exists for a foul to occur between the brake modulator pipe and the fuel pipe entering the fuel cooler and a further foul between the brake modulator pre-charge pump and the brake pipes. This may result in eventual abrasive damage to the pipes and possible leakage Remedy: Recall likely affected vehicles to check gap between pipes. If found to be too close or if corrosion protection has worn off remedial action will be taken. In the unlikely event of excessive abrasion the affected pipes will be replaced.
