Corsa, Frontera, Mokka

Certain Opel Corsa, Frontera, and Mokka vehicles have a spacing problem between the petrol particulate filter pipe and a component of the engine's electrical system that could allow water to enter in wet conditions. This water infiltration could cause an electrical arc leading to overheating or fire. The recall affects specific vehicles in France identified by their VIN numbers.

In wet conditions, the insufficient clearance and possible contact between these components can lead to water infiltration, causing an electric arc, that could trigger a thermal event, such as overheating, which may lead to fire.. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units...
