Tata 207: Possible Loss Of Steering Control
- Recalling firm
- TATA
- Product
- Vehicles: TATA 207. Units affected: 950
- Reason
- The steering idler arm may not have adequate end clearance on its fulcrum and could pick up on its retaining nut shearing the split pin. This could allow detachment of the nut with an adverse effect on steering control. Remedy: Recall the affected vehicles and check that the steering idler arm has adequate end clearance on its fulcrum. Where the clearance is insufficient the correct clearance will be established by shimming.
