Harley Davidson Flhc: 2025 And 2026 Softail Rear Brakeline

Recall Summary Harley Davidson is recalling approximately 647 motorcycles from 2025 and 2026 (models FLHC, FXBB, FXLRS, and FXLRST) because the rear brake line may rub against the Body Control Module due to tight clearance. Over time, this contact could damage the brake line and cause brake fluid to leak, which could reduce braking effectiveness. The manufacturer will replace the BCM caddy and inspect and repair the brake line if needed.

Product
Vehicles: HARLEY DAVIDSON FLHC, HARLEY DAVIDSON FXBB, HARLEY DAVIDSON FXLRS, HARLEY DAVIDSON FXLRST. Units affected: 647
Reason
The rear brake line may contact the Body Control Module (BCM) due to insufficient clearance. Contact between the brake line and the BCM over time could lead to a hole in the brake line and a loss of brake fluid. If brake fluid loss remains undetected rear braking may be compromised increasing the risk of a crash. Remedy: The BCM caddy and associated hardware will be replaced on all affected vehicles. In addition the rear brake line will be inspected and if damaged will be replaced along with associated parts.
