Jaguar Xj: Srs Did Not Deploy Airbags As Intended

Jaguar XJ Airbag Recall Summary Jaguar is recalling 2,109 XJ vehicles because their front airbags may not deploy at the correct impact threshold if a software update failed during a diagnostic procedure. In a frontal crash serious enough to require airbag deployment, the airbags will still deploy but only at higher impact speeds than intended, potentially resulting in increased injuries to occupants. Jaguar will update the vehicle's control module with the latest software to fix the issue.
