Mercedes Benz Bus Sprinter: Fire May Occur
Mercedes-Benz Bus is recalling 2 Sprinter vehicles because an incorrect cable duct retaining bolt was installed that could detach from the engine during a crash. If this happens, the starter or alternator wiring could short circuit and potentially cause a fire. The vehicles will need to have the mounting bolt replaced and the starter wiring secured.
