Altec Industries: Inoperative Emergency Stop Switch

Recall Summary Altec Industries is recalling certain 2025-2026 AM Series Aerial Device vehicles because the emergency stop switch at the turntable does not work properly when certain controls are active, which could leave the equipment powered even after the emergency stop is pressed. This creates a risk of injury to operators. Altec will mail notification letters to owners in June 2026 and will either confirm that a fix is already in place or provide a free repair kit, depending on what the owner finds during an inspection.
