Abarth 500e: Abarth 500e. Instrument Panel Cluster Software
Abarth is recalling 83 units of the 2024 Abarth 500e due to a software issue with the Automatic Emergency Brake (AEB) system. If a driver turns off the AEB and then tries to turn it back on during the same driving session, the system may stay off while the dashboard warning light remains off, which fails to alert the driver. Abarth will fix this with a front camera software update.

- Vehicles: ABARTH 500e. Units affected: 83
- Reason
- On affected vehicles the Automatic Emergency Brake (AEB) function may remain deactivated in a specific use case. If the customer seeks to reactivate the AEB after previously deactivating it during the same driving cycle (key on/off) it will remain deactivated however the icon on the cluster to alert about deactivation remains off. This does not meet regulatory requirements. Remedy: Update front camera software.
