BMW Motorrad K Series: ABS May Fail

BMW Motorrad is recalling 84 K Series motorcycles because the ABS brake system may stop working in certain situations when used continuously, due to excessive pressure buildup. Product
Vehicles: BMW MOTORRAD K SERIES. Units affected: 84
Reason
In certain exceptional circumstances (constant use of the ABS) it is possible for the ABS to stop functioning. This is as a result of excessive pressure building up in the ABS system. Remedy: Recall the machines that are likely to be affected and fit modified brake discs which will decrease the volume in the brake system caused by very high temperatures and thereby discourage the 'overpressure' effect.
