Recall Summary Hyundai is recalling 35,823 Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6 vehicles produced between November 2023 and July 2025 due to a defect in the high-voltage battery system. Moisture can enter the battery gas outlet, causing temperature sensor errors that may trigger the high-voltage circuit to shut down, resulting in loss of power while driving. The fix is a battery management system software update.
