Great Wall Ora: On Affected Vehicles If The Auxiliary Charge (3 Pin) Cable Is Used With Household Extension Leads And/or Substandard Domestic Wall Sockets For An Extended Period There Is A Possibility
Great Wall Ora Recall Summary Great Wall is recalling 1,449 Ora vehicles because the auxiliary charging cable's 3-pin plug can overheat when used with household extension leads or substandard wall sockets for extended periods, potentially causing cable failure. Additionally, if the vehicle is unlocked via remote key during charging, voltage remains in the charge socket for 15 seconds afterward, which could create an electrical spark if the cable is unplugged during that window. The manufacturer will replace the 3-pin cable with a 10-amp version and update the vehicle's charging software.
