- Further to Recall 440 (R2012/059) and investigations undertaken by DAF it is suspected that the most likely cause of cracked Hytrel brake pipes in Circuit 3 (hand brake circuit) is due to stress on the air pipe in combination with a certain chemical agent that may be used in the cleaning of vehicles. Remedy: As a result it is necessary to replace Voss couplings with the Raufoss type coupling on Circuit 3.
