Land Rover Range Rover Sport: Aj20-d6 And Aj20-p6 Engine Oil Filter Housing Cracked
Recall Summary Land Rover is recalling approximately 1,566 vehicles (Range Rover Sport, Defender, Range Rover, Discovery, and Range Rover Velar models) because the oil filter housing was made with the wrong type of plastic and may crack over time. If the housing cracks, pressurized oil can leak onto hot engine parts and potentially cause a fire, or spill onto the road creating a slipping hazard. Land Rover will replace the oil filter housing, filter, and related seals on affected vehicles.
