Peugeot 307: Failure Of The Throttle Stop Could Lead To A Reduction In Braking Assistance

Peugeot is recalling 17,198 units of the 307 and 807 models because engine software may cause the throttle to malfunction and, in rare cases, break. If this happens, the engine enters a reduced-power mode that could decrease braking assistance. The fix involves installing updated software in the engine computer.
