2023 Toyota Tundra - Engine

Recall Summary Toyota is recalling approximately 169,000 vehicles from 2023-2024 model years (Tundra, Lexus LX 600, and Lexus GX 550 with 3.4L twin-turbo engines) because metal debris left during manufacturing could damage the crankshaft bearings, potentially causing rough running, starting problems, or engine stalls while driving. This could result in a sudden loss of engine power and increase the risk of a crash. Toyota will mail owners notification, though the repair procedure is still being developed.
