Recall Summary Children's baseball-style caps imported from China contain excessive formaldehyde in the lining and finishing tape. The lining fabric measured 289 mg/kg of formaldehyde (nearly 4 times the safety limit of 75 mg/kg), and the finishing tape measured 133 mg/kg (about 1.7 times the limit). Exposure to these formaldehyde levels may cause vision problems, skin irritation, and digestive or respiratory issues.
