Mitsubishi Mirage: Braking May Be Reduced
Recall Summary Mitsubishi is recalling 1,534 Mirage vehicles sold in the United Kingdom because moisture can enter the front wheel ABS sensors through inadequate waterproofing in the wiring. This faulty sensor signal can cause warning lights to illuminate, the speedometer to fluctuate, or false ABS activation, and in severe cases may reduce braking efficiency or affect steering control. Mitsubishi will replace the sensors on all affected vehicles.
