2023 Honda Cr-v Hybrid - Other

Recall Summary Honda is recalling approximately 1.88 million 2023-2026 Accord Hybrid and CR-V Hybrid vehicles because the tire repair kit nozzle may not attach properly to the tire valve, allowing pressure to build up in the sealant bottle and potentially causing the cap to detach. A detached cap could cause injury. Honda will mail owners instructions to visit a dealership where the nozzle will be replaced, and any previously-used sealant bottles will also be replaced.

Reason
Issue: On certain vehicles, if the tire repair kit nozzle is not properly attached to the tire valve, pressure could build up in the sealant bottle. As a result, excessive pressure could cause the bottle cap to detach. Safety Risk: If the bottle cap detaches, it could increase the risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Honda will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the nozzle on the tire repair kit. If the sealant bottle has been previously used, it will be replaced.
