Health hazards: 本製品は体外診断用医薬品であり、人体に直接使用されることはありません。 一方、高値を示す緩衝液を使用して、本来の検査に使用した場合、偽陽性と判定される可能性が考えられます が、測定前に陰性コントロールを測定し、陽性を示したり、検査したすべての結果が陽性を示す場合は、偽陽性 が疑われるため医療機関では再検査を実施しています。 また、診断は本結果の他、他の検査結果や臨床症状等に基づいて総合的に判断されることからも、本事象による 重篤な健康被害の発生の可能性はないと考えます。 なお、現在までに健康被害の報告はありません。

- On July 8, 2025, we received notification from a medical institution that when testing specimens and Fungitec controls using the affected lot of buffer solution, “high readings were observed in specific buffer solution vials.” We subsequently collected the facility’s inventory and conducted internal testing, confirming that high readings occurred in some vials. Since the use of this buffer solution to test patient specimens could result in false-positive results, we have decided to voluntarily recall the affected product.
