Seat Exeo: Passenger Airbag Replacement
SEAT EXEO Airbag Recall Summary SEAT is recalling 8,632 EXEO vehicles with Takata front passenger airbags that may deteriorate in humid, hot conditions. If the airbag deploys in an accident, the housing could break apart and cause injury to passengers. The remedy is to replace the front passenger airbag.

- In some SEAT EXEO (3R) vehicles within the specified range of VINs with a front passenger airbag by Takata a deterioration of the propellant could occur due to high air humidity and temperature changes. As a result in the event of an accident and the activation of the front passenger airbag fragments of the generator housing could become detached and injure the passengers. Remedy: The front passenger airgbag must be replaced.
