New Holland T7.165 S T7.190 T7.210: Hand Brake Replacement

Recall Summary New Holland is recalling 1,584 tractors across multiple T-series models because the hand brake's mechanical parts can wear abnormally fast, potentially causing the brake to lose grip or disengage unexpectedly. This could result in unintended movement of the tractor. The remedy involves replacing either the hand brake lever assembly or the hand brake lever pawl, depending on the tractor model.

Reason
The teeth of the mechanical park brake pawl and ratchet can wear abnormally fast and may degrade possibly resulting in a loss of grip upon engagement of the handbrake. In the unlikely event of the hand brake lever self dis-engaging due to abnormal wear of the parts it can lead to an unexpected movement of the tractor. Remedy: Replace either the hand brake lever assembly or for speciality ranges of tractors the hand brake lever pawl due to a different design of the part.
