- Reason
- It is possible that the flexible exhaust coupling could fail and allow hot exhaust gases to escape onto the chassis area at the rear of the cab. This may cause the vehicle's trailer air lines (plastic piping) to melt and inadvertently apply the trailer brakes. Remedy: Recall all affected vehicles and replace the flexible exhaust coupling with a redesigned unit.
