- During cold starts the oil pressure relief valve may not respond quickly enough thus allowing excess pressure to build up causing the bottom of the oil filter to deform. This can cause oil to leak from the filter with the potential of a slip type accident. Remedy: Recall likely to be affected machines and fit a replacement oil filter.
