- It has been identified during trials that in situations of extremely heavy use it may be possible for a crack to develop in the sem-i trailer bed plate just ahead of the king pin. If a crack does develop and is ignored then ultimately the risk exists that the king pin could be torn away. Remedy: The subject area of the bed plate will be modified as necessary.
