Seat Inca: Tension Cracks May Occur On The Vacuum Pipe To The Servo
Recall Summary SEAT is recalling approximately 161,316 vehicles including the Inca, Vario, Leon, Ibiza, Toledo, and Cordoba models due to manufacturing defects that can cause cracks in the vacuum pipe connected to the brake servo. If the pipe cracks and leaks, the brake servo may stop working, which would require more force to apply the brakes, though the braking system would not fail completely. Dealers will inspect the vacuum pipes and replace them if necessary.

- Product
- Vehicles: SEAT INCA, SEAT VARIO, SEAT LEON, SEAT IBIZA, SEAT TOLEDO, SEAT CORDOBA. Units affected: 161,316
- Reason
- Tension cracks may occur on the vacuum pipe to the brake servo in the area of the connections due to a manufacturing fault. Should a vacuum pipe leak the brake servo will loose it's function. This will result in an increase of force which must be applied to the brake pedal. But will not result in a total failure of the braking system. Remedy: Recalled vehicles will have the vacuum pipes checked and if necessary replaced.
