RAM 1500: Passenger Airbag Inflator
RAM is recalling one vehicle from their 1500, 2500, 3500, and commercial cab chassis models due to a passenger airbag inflator that may rupture when activated, potentially sending metal fragments through the airbag cushion and injuring occupants. The problem occurs when moisture enters the inflator through faulty seals and is absorbed by internal components, making failure more likely in hot, humid climates. RAM will replace the passenger front airbag module in affected vehicles.
