Buell Xb12x: Engine May Cut Out Without Warning
Buell is recalling 518 XB12X motorcycles because vibration and incorrectly routed wires can cause the bank angle sensor to malfunction, sending a false signal that cuts off the engine without warning. This engine shutdown could potentially cause an accident. The fix involves relocating the bank angle sensor to a different mounting location on the motorcycle.

- Reason
- A result of the vibration at the mounting location and the mis-routing of various wires the bank angle sensor can give a false tip signal which causes the engine to cut out. This could in certain circumstances cause an accident. Remedy: Recall the machines that are likely to be affected to move the bank angle sensor from the original location on the battery tray to the current production location on the seat latch.
