Alfa Romeo Junior Mhev: Alternator Protection
Recall Summary Alfa Romeo is recalling 1,573 Junior MHEV vehicles because a manufacturing defect may cause insufficient clearance between the fuel Particulate Filter pipe and part of the 48V Belt Starter Generator. In wet conditions, this reduced clearance could allow water to enter and create an electrical arc, potentially causing overheating or fire in the engine compartment. The fix involves replacing the protection cup and checking or repositioning the pipe if the gap is less than 10 millimeters.
