BMW Motorrad K Series: ABS Function May Fail

Product
Vehicles: BMW MOTORRAD K SERIES. Units affected: 302
Reason
There is a possibility of the ABS sensor cable sagging into a loop in the vicinity of the front brake left caliper following disassembly work i.e. a tyre change. This can result in the sensor cable chafing against the brake disc with the result that the ABS function can fail. Remedy: Recalled machines will be fitted with an additional sensor cable retaining clip.
