Daimler Trucks: Insufficient Joint Strength And Missing Seat Belt Anchor, 221 (seat Belts)
Recall Summary Daimler Trucks is recalling certain 2027 Thomas Built school buses because the driver's seat belt anchor connector plates may be missing and interior body joints may lack proper reinforcement. These missing parts could prevent the seat belt from properly restraining the driver in a crash and may reduce structural protection for passengers. Owners will receive notification letters starting October 23, 2026, and a repair plan is being developed.
