Ford Transit: Transit Transit Custom - Potential Exhaust Manifold Nut Incorrectly Torqued
Recall Summary Ford is recalling 8 Ford Transit and Transit Custom vehicles because some exhaust manifold nuts may not have been tightened properly during manufacturing. This could allow exhaust gas to leak and cause nearby plastic parts to melt, potentially leading to oil leaks onto hot engine surfaces and a fire risk. Dealers will inspect the nuts and replace them if needed.

- Reason
- On affected vehicles the correct tightening torque was not reached on some of the exhaust manifold nuts during the manufacturing process.
